Celebrating 62 years!

John (Jack) Kavanaugh, Jr. along with his wife Jane started the business in 1947 while raising their children.  John Kavanaugh III and his wife, linda took over the business in 1978. Today, John Kavanaugh IV and Jackie Kavanaugh are planning on keeping the tradition alive for a third generation.  Kavanaugh's is one of the longest family owned restaurant's in Madison.  We were also one of the first to begin the traditional "Friday Night Fish Fry".
